-- July 4th 2150, Dear Diary, I've heard that 142 years ago, there were no robots as the way I see them now... Now, when I walk on the streets I can see robots kids, robot dogs, robot parents etc. Veni Vidi Vici for them. Technology is going way too fast. I wonder how the world would look like in 2200. At the moment I'm staring at a butterfly: the only animal which still no robot is made of. -- (Vēnī, vīdī, vīcī (pronounced [ˈweːniː ˈwiːdiː ˈwiːkiː] in Classical Latin or [ˈveni ˈvidi ˈvitʃi] in Vulgar Latin) is a famous Latin sentence spoken by Julius Caesar in 47 BC.[1] It translates as "I came, I saw, I conquered." Ohhh, finally this is done. Took me ages to complete and then I had to wait a long time till I could upload it. But, I think it's all worth it This piece is a manipulation and digital painting together. I digital painted his face, arms, shoes and a bit of his clothes, the butterfly, made the quality better etc. In total it has around 250 layers. P.S. he's not emo... just looking serious at the butterfly :lmao: Tools: - Adobe Photoshop CS 3 - Wacom Tablet intuos3 A4 - Wacom Mouse - Energy drink

btw the 'vici' means not 'I conquered' but 'I won'. Remember the word victory, that is where it comes from. 3 years ago jasminsander says: actually, the quote being from caesar in the context of war, it was certainly meant as conquered... and after all, to be victorious is to conquer opposition.... chuckles.

sometimes , simple things can show you lots of meaning
you told us a story and show us just a kid robot from your future world instead of sketch the whole city or the whole future world.
,
you're amazing
